A native Phoenician, Amanda Noel Trombley had the joy of leaving home to be involved with theatre around the nation, and internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, before eventually returning to the Valley of the Sun. She has been seen locally as an actor (Diane in Bards and Beasts, Sister James in Doubt, countless Shakespeare roles, and more), director (Phoenix Theatre’s 24 Hour Theatre Project, How I Learned to Drive, The Tempest, The Taming, Anatomy of a Hug, and more), writer (Alphabet Shakespeare series, Phoenix Moms collective, and more), text coach, and teaching artist. She was an original member of The Studio and is thrilled to be back.
Amanda earned a Bachelor's from Pepperdine University and an MLitt as well as an MFA in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin College in association with the American Shakespeare Center. When she’s not involved in theatre, Amanda is probably spending time, with her three kids and partner in chaos, or out running on the beautiful Phoenix trails. In everything from motherhood to the smallest on stage gig, she hopes her life is guided by these three principles: Serve, Love, Mend.
