Rachel Weiss is honored to be a part of The Theatre Artists Studio! She caught the acting bug at age six playing Frog in Frog and Toad and has been performing ever since. She is a native of Missouri and has had the privilege of performing in 17 states and the District of Columbia. Since moving to Arizona with her husband Taylor, Rachel has performed with Don Bluth Front Row Theatre (DBFRT), Desert Stages Theatre, MCT, Desert Foothills Theatre, The Theatre Artists Studio, and Stage Left. She has received ariZoni Award nominations for her portrayals of The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz and Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life at DBFRT. Other favorite previous roles include Julie (Jake’s Women), Annelle (Steel Magnolias), Elvira (Blithe Spirit), Catherine (The Foreigner), Rose (Dancing at Lughnasa), and Ado Annie (Oklahoma!).
