From 1992–1994, she was a member of South Coast Repertory's Professional Conservatory, where she studied playwriting with Literary Manager John Glore and had four short plays produced during SCR's summer series. In 1994, her first full-length play, Circles, was included in Ashland, Oregon's, New Plays Festival. Since then, she has written four new full-length plays and has two more in development. Theatre Artists Studio, City Lights Theatre Company, Arizona Classical Theatre, and The Elks Opera House have produced her full-lengths, and her short plays have been produced by The@trics, Theatre Artists Studio, and the Phoenix Fringe Festival, among others. Micki is co-founder of Tomorrow's Theatre Tonight, featuring works-in-progress by Arizona playwrights read by rehearsed actors and followed by audience feedback.
