Gus Edwards

Gus Edwards is a native of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. He studied playwriting and theatre arts at Lehman College in New York City; Iona College in New Rochelle, NY; Bloomfield College in New Jersey and Carolina School of the Arts. Gus is currently a Professor in the Herberger College of Fine Arts at Arizona State University, where he teaches film theory. A celebrated playwright, Edwards is the author of many plays and several books about black theatre and its history.
