Clark earned a BA in Political Science and Philosophy (SUNY Buffalo) before working in corporate America in New York City for 25+ years. From copywriting to successfully implementing million-dollar, multi-media marketing campaigns, he helped organizations in diverse industries increase market share, awareness and sales (subscriptions/attendance).
After working with the engineers developing the internet (at the IEEE Communications Society), he went on to update the marketing programs for several businesses to bring them into the 21st Century.
He’s thrilled to now be living in sunny Arizona, writing poetry, fiction and plays and working with all the talented artists at Theatre Artists Studio (TAS). Two of his plays (The White Swan Compact and Tank Zeros Out) have been featured at First Look readings at TAS and he had a scene in Holiday Music and Musings in December 2023 (That Christmas in Riverside Park). His one-act play Executive Decision was featured in TAS’s 2024 Summer Shorts Festival.
Clark’s one-act play Unmuted got a table read at the 2024 & 2025 Midwestern Dramatists Conference in Kansas City and his full-length play The Republic advanced to the Second Round in the Stage Play category at the 2024 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition
Several of Clark’s articles have been published on LinkedIn and many of his poems have appeared in poetry anthologies.
