Bill graduated Magna Cum Laude in Drama from Lawrence University and received his M.F.A. in directing from Carnegie-Mellon University. In addition to the more than 25 productions he has directed, he has acted in over 40 plays at various theaters across the country. Some of his favorite roles are Gene in I Never Sang for My Father, Quentin in After the Fall, Don in Butterflies are Free, Tom in Glass Menagerie and Dupas in a production of Little Murders directed by David Barker. In addition, Bill had featured roles in the locally produced films Blackthorn Rose, Accidents Will Happen, Falling Light and The Dance as well as a commercial for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. In Cleveland Bill taught acting and directed at Case Western Reserve University. Since moving to Phoenix Bill started two theaters. He was the producer and director of 4 plays at Theater/Theatre and was the successful producer of 9 musical reviews at Nancy’s Dinner Theater. For the past several years, Bill has been the backup photographer for this theater and is now very happy to be an artistic member.
