Dr. Barbara Acker has a Ph.D. in Theatre from Wayne State University and has taught acting and voice in universities including Miami University in Ohio and Arizona State University, from which she retired and is now Professor Emeritus. Her directorial work in the Valley includes Medea's Ghost, Father Christmas and the Snow Queen, the Great Playwright Series and New Summer Shorts for The Studio, John Loves Mary (Hale); Dancing at Lughnasa (ASU) and Ramona (Teatro Bravo).
