Linda Grady

Linda DeArmond Grady has worked as an actress, singer, dancer and writer, all wrapped around a 30-year career as a Sign Language Interpreter. Linda’s plays Three As One and The Green Nightgown were produced in New York City as part of the Love Creek Annual Short Play Festival, and her one-act play Tradition was produced by Circus Theatricals Ensemble, in Los Angeles. As a Writer’s Circle member at Actor’s Theatre of Phoenix, she received staged readings of six of her one-act plays. A longtime member of the Phoenix theatre community, she has performed in over 50 theatrical productions. Some favorite roles include: M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias; Ouisa in Six Degrees of Separation (Phoenix Theatre Co.); Laura in The Glass Menagerie; and The Woman in Laughing Wild (Actor’s Lab). Guest star TV roles include: Becker; Legend; and Young Riders. She also worked behind the scenes in Los Angeles as a casting associate for CBS and ABC TV. In 2021, she published Reflections On Bee Stings, her first book of poetry, and recently co-wrote the book for the new musical, A Beautiful Place, with husband Michael Grady.
