Lesley Tutnick-Machbitz

Lesley’s work includes repertory, regional, national, American debut, and world premiere theatre as well as theatre for young audiences. Lesley has both regional and national commercials to her credits, as well as several independent film roles. She earned her BFA in Theatre Performance and Master's in Theatre Performance and Theatre Education, as well as a three-year certificate of study in Meisner Technique from PlayHouse West in Los Angeles and Summer Congress at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where she continued to study for several years before moving home to the Phoenix area. Locally, she has performed with Arizona Theatre Company, Phoenix Theatre, Theater Works, Theatre Artists Studio, and Arizona Jewish Theatre Company. Lesley has received AriZoni nominations for her work in Cactus Flower and My Children! My Africa! All Through The Night, Crime and Punishment, Hard Love, and Dark of the Moon. Lesley is part of the Theatre Arts Faculty at Glendale Community College, Adjunct Theatre Faculty at Grand Canyon University, and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
