Kristin Joy Moran
Kristin Joy Moran is an actor, playwright, musician, and former elementary music educator based in Phoenix, Arizona. After retiring from a 25-year teaching career, she turned her focus to pursuing her lifelong passions for writing, acting, and performance.
Her award-winning solo play Futakuchi Onna, inspired by Japanese folklore, has been performed in Phoenix, Tucson, San Diego, Joshua Tree, and Hollywood, earning awards at the 2024 Tucson Fringe Festival and 2025 San Diego Fringe Festival. Her second solo show, Baldwin, explores identity, loss, and self-discovery through humor and heartfelt storytelling.
As an actor, Kristin is drawn to character-driven work that balances comedy and emotional depth. Favorite roles include Vivian Bearing in Wit and Beatrice in The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. In addition to theater, Kristin performs as a pianist and vocalist throughout the Phoenix area.
Kristin is delighted to be joining TAS and looks forward to collaborating with fellow artists, telling meaningful stories, and continuing to explore the transformative power of live performance.
