C.D. Macaulay
Hi! Really hope to work with all you talented people. While new to TAS, CD is a veteran on both sides of the boards. He has a B.A. in Drama from the University of Maryland, won an acting scholarship to Arena Stage in Washington D.C. and was classically, comedically and commercially trained in NYC. Doing requisite Off-Off showcases and film extra roles. A two-time Zoni nominee, his favorite AZ roles are Oscar Madison (The Odd Couple) Tito Morelli (A Comedy of Tenors) dying ex-president Art Hockstader (The Best Man) Mr. Lockhart (The Seafarer) and Menenius (Coriolanus). CD’s directing credits include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, How I Learned to Drive, Doubt, Later Life and Tally’s Folly.
CD has also written an original show called The Play's the Thing. It's set in a fictionalized version of the Drama Book Store.
