Beau Heckman is very proud to be Directing The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy:Discord for Theatre Artist Studios. Beau has been involved with the Studio for many years now as an Actor, Assistant Lighting Designer, Booth Technician and now Director. Beau most recently directed Southwest Shakespeare Company’s production of The Merchant of Venice and Theatre Artists Studio’s Summer Shorts play, The Ice Princess of the Bingo Palace. Other notable directing works include plays from the First Look and Second Look series at Theatre Artists Studio, Legends of: The Werewolf (creator, writer and actor), and the virtual production of Pericles, Price of Tyre (Director). Beau was last seen onstage in School for Lies, The Alchemist, and Farinelli and the King with Southwest Shakespeare Company; The Diary of Anne Frank, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Ella Enchanted, and Old Jake’s Skirts with Childsplay Theatre; The Holiday Extravaganza and The Phantom of the Melodrama with The Great American Melodrama; Dream a Little Dream, Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, The Producers, Cabaret, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat with Phoenix Theatre Company; A Christmas Carol, and The Lieutenant of Inishmore with Actors Theatre of Phoenix.
