Gary Santorella - writer
A part-time playwright and full-time organizational development consultant, Gary received a BA in Behavioral Psychology from Providence College, Providence, RI, in 1980. He received a Masters Degree in Occupational Social Welfare (MSW) from UC Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, in 1990, and is a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) in California. His first play, Lariam Dreams, was performed at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2004. Gary has written short stories that appeared in the Providence Journal Sunday Literary Supplement, and his book, Lean Culture for the Construction Industry: Building Responsible and Committed Project Teams, was published by Taylor & Francis in January 2001. He has worked and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. A recent Arizona transplant, Gary came to the Valley in September 2010 by way of Providence, RI, and San Francisco, CA.
