Drea Pruseau – actor, director
is an actress, director and theatre educator with over 15 years experience. She began her acting career in San Francisco where she performed in many plays and musicals, most notably as Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Dotty Otley in Noises Off, one woman readings of the works of Dorothy Parker and Colette to name but a few. Her musical experience lead to roles in Hello Dolly (title role) and a plethora of work with The Lamplighters, an opera company specializing in the work of Gilbert and Sullivan. As a director, she has helmed successful productions of Lettice & Lovage, Lady in the Dark, What the Butler Saw and God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater,and some 15 others. Since moving to The Valley of the Sun, she has worked with Phoenix Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare, Sedona Shakespeare, Arizona Theatre Company and Arizona Jewish Theatre. She has been nominated for several ariZoni Awards and received Best Supporting Actress for her role as Ethel Banks in Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park.She is a member of Actors Equity.
