Roy Major – actor
has been active in theater in the Phoenix area since 2000, appearing in productions with a number of companies including Theater Works (A Shot in the Dark), iTheater Collaborative (Molly Sweeney, Bug and Three Men and a Horse), Southwest Shakespeare Company (Julius Caesar), and Tempe Little Theatre (Love Rides the Rails). Roles he has played include Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet, Mr. Rice in Molly Sweeney and the Reverend in Dearly Departed. He has also acted in several independent films. Roy has been a college professor since 1979 and holds a PhD in linguistics. He is currently a professor at Arizona State University.
