Michelle Katzenbach – singer, actor
Michelle Katzenbach joined The Studio in 2010 and will be a featured singer in this season’s Swingin’ on a Song. She has been singing her entire life and has appeared with Arizona Opera, Opera Columbus, Houston Grand Opera and Virginia Opera, in addition to being featured as a soloist with the Houston Symphony, Columbus Symphony, Tempe Symphony, Tempe Wind Ensemble, Phoenix Bach Choir, Sonoran Desert Chorale and the Phoenix Symphony with Doc Severinsen conducting. She performed in Savior of the World to an audience of over 2000 and in Babe, An Olympic Musical at the 2008 Pandora Festival. For over eight years, Michelle and fellow Studio member Christy Welty performed Broadway and opera revues in theatres and schools throughout the state as Arizona Commission on the Arts Artists-in-Residence. Michelle graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in vocal performance and piano. She is also a Realtor with HomeSmart.
