Scott Hyder - actor
is honored to be a member of the Theatre Artists Studio. His passion for the stage started in high school and continued through college, where he appeared in a number of plays at the University of Arizona, including The Good Doctor, Harvey, Extremities, Plaza Suite and Come Back Little Sheba. He recently returned to the theater, appearing in several music revues around town, including last year’s The Ladies of Tin Pan Alley here at The Studio. Scott is proud to have performed in other Studio productions, including last year’s Light Up The Sky (Sidney Black) and Decker and Ducker (Donald Ducker), part of the Studio's 2010 Summer Shorts. In early 2011, Scott portrayed Max Bialystock in the Mel Brooks musical The Producers at Fountain Hills Community Theater and Sancho in Mesa Encore Theatre’s production of Man of La Mancha. Last year, he appeared as Uncle Max in The Sound of Music at Fountain Hills Community Theater and Marcellus in The Music Man at Paradise Valley Community College. He has also performed in Lunchtime Theater at the Herberger with other Studio members. By day, Scott works as a sole practitioner attorney (his other acting job) and teaches real estate and bankruptcy courses to local real estate agents and attorneys.
