Maureen Dias – actor, instructor, director
performed in Last Lists of My Mad Mother, Theatre Artists Studio's first production (see past projects). She was a part of Phoenix Theatre’s New Works Festival and Writer’s Circle productions (as an actor) and is looking forward to working with The Studio’s talented group of artists on future projects. She studied theatre at West Chester University in Pennsylvania and at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She continues to take part in actors workshops. She has worked with AWTC in productions of Tongue of a Bird and Talking With. Her favorite roles include Anne in And Then They Came For Me with Childsplay and Truvy in In The Valley of the Sun for Canyon Moon Theatre Company. Maureen is a Roster Artist for the Arizona Commission on the Arts and works as a teacher and theatre director for Valley school groups. She lives in Mesa with her daughters, Breagh and Johnna.
