Carol MacLeod - President
Carol is a founder and President of the Theatre Artists Studio Board, has been a theatre professional for over 40 years. She began her career in New York as a stage and television actress but then extended her love of theatre into the areas of producing, directing and teaching as well. As a Valley resident, Carol was one of the founders of the Actors Theatre of Phoenix and served as its first Artistic and Managing Director. She also served as the Director of the Arizona Theatre Company's Encompass (Outreach) Program and was an original member of the Phoenix Arts Commission. Teaching has always been an important part of Carol's career. She taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and in Phoenix for the Phoenix Center for the Performing Arts, The Arizona Theatre Company, The Actors Theatre and The Herberger Theater Center's "Stages" Program. Prior to her return to Phoenix in 2000, she was a member of the faculty at the University of Notre Dame for seven years both in the Department of Theatre and the Department of English. For the past six years she served as Fine Arts Coordinator at Xavier College Preparatory developing staff and curriculum for their Fine Arts Program. At present she is teaching and producing at The Studio.

Steven Mastroieni - Vice President
Steven has appeared in leading roles and character parts, in many stage productions, here and abroad, as well as film and television. He is a member of the Actors Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, The Drama Studio London at Berkley and is an alumnus of Arizona State University (ASU). Mr. Mastroieni has appeared in more than 50 productions for various theatres. He has also appeared as a guest artist in several shows for ASU. Mr. Mastroieni appeared in A Certain Release, a new live digital performance piece, and most recently in Counter Indications, a project dealing with "audience immersion." He is also pleased to have been on the Steering Committee for the First Phoenix Fringe Festival. He appeared in the Principle Role of Nick in Desert Bloom, a film produced by Sundance Institute/Columbia Pictures. He has also performed a variety of character roles in films made for television. His resume includes international stage credits as well. For the last 30 years, Mr. Mastroieni has been President and CEO of Key Realty Inc., a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage. He has also been a Director of Unicorp, Inc. a Commercial Real Estate Development Company, for the past 25 years.

Dan Peitzmeyer - Secretary
Dan developed an interest in theatre in his native Cleveland, where he attended productions at Cleveland Playhouse, Cain Park and Karamu and the experimental black boxes that permeated the local universities. After moving to Arizona he studied acting at Phoenix Theatre (then PLT) and later in the STAGES program at the Herberger Theater Center. His favorite roles include 'Ruben' in Aaron Sorkins's Hidden in This Picture by Untapped Theatre and 'Monty' in James Garcia's Chuy by Colores Actors-Writers Workshop. Dan serves on The Studio Board with a primary focus on audience development. He is represented by the Leighton Agency.

Judy Lebeau - Treasurer
Judy is a Phoenix native and a 30-year veteran of theatrical productions including A Lesson From Aloes, Nuts, Accomplice, A Shayna Maidel, Yesterday’s Hero,The Immigrant and Shot in the Dark for Actor’s Theatre of Phoenix; Strange Snow and Two for the Seesaw for Phoenix Theatre; Twilight of the Golds for Arizona JewishTheatre and Munched, Riding to Bethlehem and The Temporary Queen for the Theatre Artists Studio. Her film and television credits include Disney’s Not Quite Human and Match Point, NBC’s Unsolved Mysteries and Search for Tomorrow, Mel Brooks’ The Vagrant, Cannon Films’ Ninja III, CBS’ Rescue 911, Columbia Pictures’ The Child Stealers, and the soon to be released Out of Focus. Judy has also been seen and heard in hundreds of commercials and industrial films. With a strong commitment to community service, she has served on the Boards of Directors of the National Conference of Community & Justice, Samaritan Health Services, City of Phoenix Motion Picture Task Force, AFTRA, Jewish Community Center and the Children’s Cancer Center, where she successfully led an effort to endow Camp Rainbow, a summer camp for children with cancer. Judy is proud to be a founding member of the Theatre Artists Studio.
